Calendar of Events

Each month we organize a number of events & outings for our members to attend. Whether it be a happy hour, sports event, or house party, all members are invited, and while you won't see everyone at any particular event, you will always see someone new in addition to the friendly faces you already know! Monthly Support Group by Planned Parenthood

Arlington Planned Parenthood has a local support group that provides a safe, confidential environment for discussing both medical information and treatment options as well as social issues. It is the only such gathering in North Texas. We highly recommend these meetings to all members and prospective members. The group meets the last Tuesday of each month in south Arlington near The Parks Mall.

Friends on the Beach in St. Pete, FL, November 4-7, 2010. www.friendsonthebeach.org
This is one of the biggest and most fun National Events, held at beautiful St. Petersburg beach! They are planning nightly new member ice-breakers, mixers, dance parties, pool party, variety show, and a Saturday night Banquet & Costume Ball…plus LOTS of other fun things!
2011 Texas National Event, Austin, TX, May 12-15, 2011. Details and location are still being finalized, and the website is under construction, but stay tuned to www.friendsovertexas.net for details as they are released.

Organize & Add an Event:

Any member can organize, host and add an event to the calendar. We have members all over the DFW region, so no matter where you host it, folks will show up! All you need to do is plan your activity, then contact the Social Coordinator and fill them in. The SC will also offer advice to make your shindig more successful, help you find venues & co-hosts, and notify the masses via email that you're rolling out the welcome-mat!
